CALL FOR PAPERS

Journal for the Study of Peace and Conflict

The Journal for the Study of Peace and Conflict will publish a variety of scholarly articles and short thought pieces on all aspects of war, peace, global cooperation, domestic violence and interpersonal conflict resolution; including questions of military and political security, the global economy, and global environmental issues. We wish to promote discussion of both strategic and ethical questions surrounding issues of war, peace, the environment and justice. Submissions are welcome from the humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences. Our intended audience includes scholars from a wide range of disciplines within the university community and educated members of the larger public. The format allows the publication of articles of sufficient length to give authors the opportunity to discuss a particular topic in depth. Poetry and other forms of creative writing are invited. Selections will be refereed. Contributors should avoid submissions accessible only to specialists in their field. The Journal will also include book reviews. Persons interested in reviewing should contact the editor.

Papers should be double-spaced and may vary from four to thirty pages in length. The APA journal style is encouraged for the sake of consistency. Deadline for submission is April 1, 1999. Three copies of each submission should be sent to Sharon Roberts, University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, The Wisconsin Institute, 900 Reserve Street, Stevens Point, Wisconsin 54481. Submissions may be made as attached documents to e-mail (sroberts@uwsp.edu). Other correspondence about the Journal should be addressed to:
